Hexagon Storage Has New Look!
|
Hexagon's storage area at Grace Lutheran Church has a new look thanks
to Katie Quann. As part of a Girl Scout project, Katie re-organized the
prop and costume storage area used by Hexagon Players in the basement
of the church.
According to Katie, "Ever since I have been part of Hexagon, the basement has been
a horrible mess. After being involved with seven productions, I decided to take the
opportunity to fix up the basement and receive my Gold Award. It took me about two
months to get to the end result. Thanks to Pat Doyle for building the new beams
and sturdy rods, Claire Kerr for her guidance, my mom [Lori Quann] and fellow Girl Scout
Erica Rossetti for helping me clean a mess that seemed like it had no end. I hope
for the basement to stay in top shape after I leave, and that my hard work has made
it possible to easily find needed costumes and props."

Updates on the Acting Careers of Current & Former Cast Members
|
Neil McCaffrey who was in our production of Seussical has begun quite a Broadway
career. He did Mary Poppins (in the role of Michael) for quite a while, then went on to
Bye Bye Birdie in the role of Randolph (with John Stamos) and has recently moved into the
role of "Michael" in Billy Elliot. He mentions having worked with Hexagon Players in his bio.
Nadine Jacobson was in the touring company of Les Miserable and several movies.
Carly Seyler was in The Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden for two years.

Jack Broderick cast in the Broadway production of Billy Elliott as
well as the recent Central Park production of Into the Woods starring Donna
Murphy and Amy Adams.
Joey LaVarco starred in the Broadway production of 13, and is currently
in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York City.
Tyler Merna has been cast as Michael Banks in the Mary Poppins Broadway National
Tour. He leaves to rehearse in Boston in February. The show opens in Philadelphia in late
March 2011.
